Waynet is a private, single-user personal automation system operated by Tommy Peters. It runs the Hermes agent on a private server. It has one user: its owner. It is not offered to the public and there is no sign-up.
When the owner connects a Google account, Waynet requests these Gmail permissions and no others:
gmail.modify — read messages, and apply or remove labels.gmail.send — send messages and replies on the owner's behalf.gmail.settings.basic — read and manage mail filters.Waynet does not request access to Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, Photos, or any other Google service.
The Google access token is stored in a private file on the owner's own server, readable only by the owner's operating system account. Message content is held only for as long as a task needs it. Waynet keeps a local activity log of what it did on the owner's own server.
Waynet does not sell, rent, publish, or transfer Google user data to any third party for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any similar purpose.
One disclosure the owner should know: to write a summary or a draft, Waynet sends the relevant message text to a third-party AI model provider (OpenAI) for processing. That provider processes the text to produce the reply and is not permitted to use it for anything else. No other external service receives message content.
The owner can delete the stored token, the local logs, and all cached data at any time by removing them from the server. Removing the token stops all access immediately.
Access is granted by the owner and can be withdrawn by the owner at any time at Google account permissions. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and Waynet loses all ability to read or send mail.
Waynet's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
